🎶 Festival Fun Starts Here!

🎒 Your Festival Field Guide:
Tips for a Magical Fox Valley Folk Experience

🌿 Be Kind to Every Nose
Out of care for those with allergies and sensitivities, please leave perfumes, essential oils, and other strong scents at home. Also, when applying insect repellent, be considerate and step away from others—thanks for helping us keep the festival welcoming for all!

🪑 Create Your Mobile Basecamp
Bring a portable lawn chair and cozy blanket so you can easily settle in or move from stage to stage. Find your perfect listening spot under a shady tree or right up front!

👟 Dress for the Folk Adventure
Wear comfortable walking shoes—you’ll be moving between music stages, storytelling tents, workshops, and food vendors all day. And if you're joining the Sunday Evening Community Barn Dance, pack your favorite dance shoes for a toe-tapping good time!

🎻 Bring Your Own Jam Session
Pack your instrument of choice and join hands-on workshops or spontaneous jam circles. Whether you're a seasoned fiddler or just finding your groove, there’s a place for you here.

🎟 Raffle Ready? Don’t Forget the Labels!
Bring cash to grab your raffle tickets—and a sheet of sticky return address labels to avoid writing your name on each one. You might just win the Grand Prize Guitar from Tobias Music!

💳 Pay Your Way (and Theirs!)
Fest T-shirts and performer merch are available by cash, check, or card—but some food trucks and craft vendors may prefer cash, so it’s smart to have a little of everything on hand.

🌞 Stay Cool, Stay Safe
The sun can be a strong stage light! Bring sunscreen, a refillable water bottle, and insect repellent for later in the day. If you’re feeling overheated or unwell, visit our First Aid Station—a cool, calm space for rest and recovery.

🐶 Dogs and Furry Family

The Festival, and Geneva Park District,  welcomes pets on leashes.  We especially welcome pets who are music lovers and are considerate of other humans and furry friends who may be listening,  although we do understand that pets, like children, may occasionally have to speak out to the occasional passerby or a squirrel 🐿️.

🔦 Let There Be Light (After Dark)
Don't forget a flashlight to help guide your way out of the park after the Spine-Tingling Tales session on Sunday night. And if those ghostly stories give you chills and thrills, consider dropping a small cash donation to thank the tellers for their craft.

🎶 Above All… Bring Your Joy
Come curious, come ready to sing, dance, listen, and laugh.

You’re not just attending the festival—you’re part of it.

Let’s make this year’s Fox Valley Festival unforgettable, together!
