Deidre McCalla’s music is a fearless and deeply personal exploration of hope, struggle, loss, and celebration, told through her soulful acoustic guitar and evocative lyrics. As a Black woman, mother, and feminist, she has been at the forefront of redefining Black folk music for decades. Her 2022 album Endless Grace topped folk charts, featuring the International Acoustic Music Award-winning song Shoulder To The Wheel. Deidre’s trailblazing career includes performances from Maui to Maine, and her groundbreaking debut with Olivia Records is preserved in the Smithsonian’s LGBT Collection.
