Chicago’s Anne Harris is a powerhouse fiddler, singer-songwriter, and performer known for her genre-blending sound rooted in folk, blues, rock, and Americana. Her performances are a celebration of connection and creative freedom, marked by joyful energy and magnetic storytelling. She’s toured internationally and recorded with icons like Keb’ Mo’, Guy Davis, and Jefferson Starship, and in 2024 received the Living Blues Critic’s Choice Award for Best Violinist. Anne also made history by commissioning the first recorded violin collaboration between two Black women in the U.S., with luthier Amanda Ewing, and she curates the acclaimed She Said music series in Aurora, IL.
